Judges' Lodgings

Lancaster's oldest town house, once home to Thomas Covell, Keeper of Lancaster Castle during Lancashire's infamous witch trials in 1612, and later lodgings for the 'Hanging' judges at the Assize Courts. Including the Museum of Childhood and an Edwardian school room — there's something for everyone!

Lancaster City Museum

This splendid museum's collections illustrate the rich history and archaeology of the city of Lancaster, from the Romans to the present day. It features regularly changing exhibitions and a programme of fun events and activities for families. It is also home to The King's Own Regiment museum.
