Market Place Europe will be bringing a huge selection of traders from across the world for a fantastic three-day International Market in Dalton Square, Lancaster, later this month.
Specific stalls and traders are still to be confirmed, but the company says you can expect to enjoy a great selection of arts, crafts and unique gifts to be on sale.
Based in Ashton-Under-Lyne, Market Place Europe delivers over 70 market events each year across the United Kingdom, and has established both a national and international reputation, and is closely associated with all of the industry representative organisations in the UK and abroad.
This is the first time they have brought their market to Lancaster, although similar international events have taken place before, and been well received.
Visitors to the International Market, running 19th – 21st August 2022, will be able to explore the best of British cheese, jams and chutneys, fashion and festival clothing from Ecuador, fairtrade Thuya wooden carvings from Morocco, a unique range of fashion jewellery from Poland, arts and crafts made from old and recycled cutlery from Zimbabwe, and stalls offering everything from garden furniture, handbags and perfume, to steampunk top hats goggles, wood carvings, hippie and gothic clothing.
For food lovers, there will be a tempting selection of continental and international flavours to sample, including, Chinese, Greek (both traditional and a fantastic new Greek Vegan Deli), German, Indian, Polish, Spanish, and other exotic street foods, to name but a few. A great selection of fresh foods including olives, cheeses, cakes and pick and mix sweets will be on offer, too.
“Lancaster is a new place for Marketplace Europe to bring its market and I expect it to be an excellent new place to add to our calendar,” commented Andy Pidgen, MarketPlace Europe’s operations manager. “We have some fantastic international traders joining us, so there will be something for everyone to enjoy.”
