Kendal Calling has announced album chart-topping punk and folk singer-songwriter Frank Turner will be returning to Lancaster on 1st March 2025, to perform a special one-off charity fundraising concert in aid of Citizens Advice North.

The concert is part of the Music With The Mayor concert series at Lancaster Town Hall, and one of Frank’s dates on his latest international national tour, which kicks off in Belfast on 15th February to promote his tenth studio album, Undefeated, available now.

Frank Turner began his career as the vocalist of post-hardcore band Million Dead, then embarked upon a primarily acoustic-based solo career after the band’s split, in 2005. In the studio and during live performances, he’s accompanied by his backing band, The Sleeping Souls – Ben Lloyd (guitar, mandolin), Tarrant Anderson (bass), Matt Nasir (piano, mandolin) and Callum Green (drums).

Frank has released ten solo albums, four rarities compilation albums, one retrospective “best of” album, one split album and five EPs. His ninth studio album, FTHC, released in 2022, reached Number One in the UK albums chart in the week following its release.
