Police hunt Cycle Path Robbers

Saturday, March 3, 2012 - 11:11: Lancaster police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a young woman was robbed and physicaly assaulted as she walked along a cycle path on Thursday. The robbery took place around 9.30pm when three men approached the 20-year-old woman near to Asda and knocked her to the ground where she was punched and kicked to her head and body.

Council Tax frozen, budget cut by 6%

Children book in for World Book Day literary fun

(Thursday 1st March) Pupils at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School are preparing to swap their usual uniform for the dress of their favourite fictional characters, before taking part in a fashion show to highlight their love of books.

Freedom from Torture Book Fair planned
