Judges' Lodgings Museum Needs £100,000 a year to stay open, campaign group reveals

Thursday, June 30, 2016 - 08:13: The Friends of the Judges' Lodgings group, who are trying to save the Lancashire County Council-run museum on Lancaster's Castle Hill from closure, has cautioned they need to find £100,000 a year to to keep it open, if they were to run it. Open Monday to Saturday, the Judges' Lodgings Museum is located in a Grade I listed building on Castle Hill.

Lancaster man wanted for robbery

Monday, June 6, 2016 - 15:08: Geoffrey GarthLancaster Police are appealing for information after a 61-year-old man failed to attend court. Geoffrey Garth, of Patterdale Road, Lancaster, was due to be sentenced in May. He was convicted following an offence in December 2013 where an elderly woman was robbed at her home in Morecambe.

Friday, June 3, 2016 - 12:56: Detectives investigating a fire at a shopping arcade in Lancaster released a CCTV image of three boys they wanted to speak to, who have quickly come forward and areassisting officers with their enquiries. The fire - which is being treated as suspicious at this time - started at around 8.40pm on Wednesday 1st June at St. Nicholas Arcadesshopping centre on Lancaster Gate.
