Flamboyant antiques expert David Dickinson is set to return to Lancaster in April with ITV’s Real Deal, hosting the show where you
can turn up with unwanted antiques and leave at the end of the day with
cash in your pocket.

The challenge of Real Deal, at the Salt Ayre Sports Centre on 21st April, is how to get the best deal: accept
the money on offer from the dealer, or take your chance in the auction
room?

Contestants meet with dealers who examine their item in a
working auction house and make an immediate cash offer. The seller must
decide whether to accept the guaranteed money or risk fortune or failure
in the auction room. Will they make the right choice? Only the auction
room will decide.

Plus – why
let your antiques collect dust in the attic when you can sell them?
David Dickinson and his team of dealers are travelling around the
country looking for your ‘bobby dazzlers’!  You could take money on the
spot from a dealer – or if you think the item is worth more, turn the
dealer down and choose to sell at auction instead…

If you want to sell your goods, get along to one of the dealer days and you could soon be quids-in.

As
usual, David, who first visited Lancaster back in 2007 with the show, will keep an eye on the deals and give advice when needed:
should you take the dealers’ cash or gamble at auction? But ultimately
it’s up to you to decide which option is the Real Deal!
