Jo Gillot – just one of the acts at Totally Wired’s multi-arts event at the Storey next month.

Totally Wired, a not-for-profit group that organises regular music, performance and visual arts events throughout the North West and beyond will be hosting a Multi-Arts Event at Lancaster’s newly opened Storey Creative Industries Centre on Saturday 6th June 2009.

The group promises “a Blast of Cultural Mayhem” in the form of music, comedy, poetry, drama, dance and art.

Among those performing will be Ottersgear (who are also performing at More Music in Morecambe on Friday 5th June), Jo Gillot, local poet Vik Lawless, comedy theatre group Improv Xpress and the always brilliant writer and songstress Mollie Baxter (someone plese explain why this talented artiste has not been given a recording contract!).

There will also be an Art Display by Ingrid Christie, as well as an opportunity for the audience to participate in an interactive Art Experiment.

The Event starts at 7.30 p.m. and costs just £5. Advance tickets are recommended and can be obtained from The Storey or The Book Room, 9 Meeting House Lane.
