Tonight’s Ever Present Past History and Heritage Talk at The Three Mariners (Thursday 17th September 2026) focuses on the history of one important part of local public transport.
Starting at 7.30pm, presented by Andrew Reilly, “Lancaster and Morecambe Corporation Transport: A Historical Overview” will look at the origins of local public transport from horse drawn trams, the electric trams in Lancaster, the changeover to buses and the challenges faced.
