Do you love art? Passionate about architecture? Would you like to share stunning photos of Lancaster – and inspire other artists? Are you interested in sustainable design?

If your answer to all these questions is yes, then Community Mind Connect are offering creatives to submit work for consideration that would feature in a new exhibition titled “Envisioning a Sustainable Lancaster: A Creative Design Concept” this year at The Storey.

This is an opportunity to contribute to a positive impact on the Lancaster community, develop your creative skills and gain valuable experience, and collaborate with passionate artists and experts.

The organisation, working with Lancaster City Council and The Storey, want to see how you would reimagine The Storey as a “Living Building”, that seamlessly integrates with its environment, generating more energy than it consumes, and fostering a thriving hub for creativity and sustainability education.

Specifically, they are interested in artworks that showcase innovative solutions, exploring and depicting eco-friendly technologies, sustainable living practices, and green infrastructure; and reimagine the built environment. “Consider how we can transform Lancaster into a more sustainable city, with a particular focus on the iconic Storey building.

“Together, let’s create a lasting impact on Lancaster.”

The chosen artwork will be displayed at The Thomas Storey Gallery.
