Locally based, self taught artist Andy Tetlow is preparing work for his next exhibition in October at the Storey, Lancaster.
The paintings featured will all going to be based around the Castle and Priory area following a day out in May, where he took a load of photos of the area, Lancaster an “inspiring place” for painting.
Andy’s eye catching work was the focus of a successful exhibition at the Storey earlier this year, and another in October 2025.
Andy’s career as an artist started with watercolours, but he has found his perfect medium; acrylic. “It suits the way I work which is with haste,” he says. “Once I start I have to get it down.
“I have recently renewed my love with watercolour.”
