Bafta-winning history broadcaster and best-selling author Dan Snow has just been confirmed for Lancaster University’s next Public Lecture on Tuesday 28th February 2023.
In the first Public Lecture of 2023, Dan Snow will talk about making history accessible online – he has livestreamed on Tik Tok while searching for Shackleton’s ship Endurance, he has posted on Instagram from World War One biplanes and recorded podcasts from inside the Arctic and Antarctic circles.
Dan will explore some of the strengths and weaknesses of all the digital tools now available, and the opportunities and dangers that this revolution in broadcasting brings.
