Police are appealing for information following the theft of a caravan worth around £14,000 in Heysham last month.

The caravan was stolen from the secure yard of a house on Oxcliffe Road sometime between 9.30am and 2.30pm on Saturday 25th September.

It is believed the offender or offenders managed to gain entry to the yard by using cutting equipment on the metal gate which led to the rear of the house.

The caravan is white with a green stripe along the sides and has a cream leather interior.

PC Sean Brady said: “I would appeal to anybody who witnessed any suspicious behaviour in the Oxcliffe Road area of Heysham on Saturday 25th September to contact police.

“I would also like to speak with anybody who thinks they may have any information at all that could assist with this investigation.”
