Carnforth Community Swimming Pool is to undergo improvement works and as a result the swimming pool will close on Monday 25th August 25 for two weeks, reopening at 6.30am on 8th September.
The improvements, which will cost some £44,000, include the re-grouting of the pool and installation of new equipment in the plant room, leading to improved water quality.
The closure will also provide the opportunity for general maintenance works.
Tickets and passes will be valid for use at the community pools in Hornby and Heysham.
