Light Up Lancaster in style this autumn.

Just turn up at The Dukes on Tuesday 3rd November from 6.30-8pm and create a light reflective costume to wear at the Light Up Lancaster weekend.

The session is free and all materials are provided. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

On the evening of 6th November, you can wear your creations with pride and strike a pose for a photographer in a special Pamper Parlour in Market Square. There will be prizes for the best and most imaginative costumes.

The Wearable Art Workshops will be run by Katie Duxbury, who makes many of the costumes for The Dukes theatre productions. She will be fizzing with ideas having just returned from the World of Wearable Art Show in New Zealand.

Katie has made costumes for Dukes productions since graduating in theatre design in 2009 and she held an exhibition of her work there last year. She has also worked in London’s West End on the award-winning production of Top Hat.

Katie will return to the Lancaster theatre soon to make costumes for the Christmas production of Beauty & The Beast which runs from 20th November 2015 – 2nd January 2016
