Two Lancaster men were charged on firearms and drug charges earlier today.

Adam Bradley, 18, of Denny Avenue, Lancaster and Neil Bradley, 20, of Austwick Road, Lancaster have both been charged with possession of a shotgun and possession of class A, B and C drugs.

Both have been remanded in police custody and will appear at Lancaster Magistrates Court on Thursday the 15th September.

The charges follow the recovery of a holdall by police from waste ground at the rear of Austwick Road on Ryelands Estate, Lancaster on Saturday the 18th June. Within the bag were machetes, a 0.410 calibre shotgun together with a quantity of shotgun cartridges for that weapon, a quantity of Class A Drugs (Cocaine), Class B Drugs (Cannabis Resin) and Class C Drugs (Buprenorphine).
