The Freewheelers Bicycle Workshop opens in Lancaster next Tuesday (18th October), a workers’ co-op that offers bike repairs and sells bike parts and accessories, with a focus on British made and environmentally friendly products, when possible, such as Green Oil products.
The workshop also runs maintenance courses (starting at the end of October), with a focus on hands on learning, and a tool club, that everyone can join, for an annual membership fee, to use the workshop’s tools and facilities to repair their own bicycle.
Freewheelers are also working on refurbishing a series of second hand bicycles that will be ready in a few weeks.
