The Nelson Street pay and display car park in Lancaster is scheduled to be closed temporarily from Monday 29th September until approximately Friday 3rd October for resurfacing works.
It is the latest car park to be resurfaced as part of Lancaster City Council’s ongoing Car Parks Improvement Programme.
Earlier this month the Auction Mart car park off Thurnham Street was resurfaced and the previously unmarked car park now benefits from lined bays, providing spaces for approximately 120 cars.
Once the programme of improvement works to city centre car parks is complete an additional 16 disabled spaces will have been created for blue badge holders to use for free.
