Police are appealing for information after two arson attacks on the Ridge Estate in Lancaster.

At around 9.25pm on 23rd October, a lit firework was pushed through the letterbox of a property on the Estate. The firework exploded in the hallway causing some minor damage to the doorway.

At around 10.30pm on Sunday (1st November), a firework was set off inside an address on Patterdale Road.

The offender is believed to have approached the property and opened a rear door, releasing the firework inside a hallway. Some damage was caused to the floor and walls.

On both occasions, the occupants have been fortunate to suffer no injuries.
