Mark Pickup is a local Visually Impaired photographer with a passion for landscape photography – and there’s a small exhibition of his work at The Storey, Lancaster, at present, running until 21st March 2022.
The free “Around the Bay” Photo Exhibition features many of Mark’s photographs of sunsets over Morecambe Bay, captured through the years and reflecting different seasons. All the images are available for sale.
Mark’s passion for photography began over twenty years ago. During the last ten years he became visually impaired, due to developing Macula Dystrophy.
“I have been strong willed and positive that this would not destroy my ability or attitude towards my photography,” he says. Over the years, his work has featured in several media publications.
