The Crypt Keepers Carnival Macabre Market is rolling into town this Saturday, 28th March 2026, from 11.00am until 4.00pm — and you’re invited. Dare you enter?

Taking place at Kanteena on Brewery Lane, enter a world of the weird, the wonderful, and the wickedly creative. With a wide variety of stallholders, all small businesses from across the North West, this is your chance to discover handcrafted treasures, eerie delights, and one-of-a-kind handywear you won’t find anywhere else.

Whether you’re into the quirky, the geeky, or the downright unusual, there’s something lurking here just for you.

Free entry, but tickets available here. Everyone welcome.

Crypt Keepers Carnival, which has also hosted events in Morecambe, is an alternative artisan market made up of traders from across the UK, created and ran by three local Liverpool girls. It aims to provide a platform for small businesses who may not be able to afford a permanent shop space with overheads, and to provide the opportunity for them to share their wares with a wider audience across different areas in the North West.

They are an inclusive and safe space for everyone, and always choose venues with accessibility at the forefront of their decision making.

Born from a love of the alternative, Crypt Keepers Carnival provides something for everyone, even those who didn’t know what they were looking for.

Come curious… leave enchanted.

The next Market will be in Alexandra Square at Lancaster University, a two day event over Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st June. This will be an outdoor event, with entertainment being provided by Lancaster University to make it a proper weekend event, and for students to celebrate the end of exams.
