Calling all Filmmakers, Screenwriters, Actors and Producers: the famous Guerilla Filmmakers Masterclass is coming to Lancaster.

The masterclass will run over the weekend 27–28th June 2026, hosted by the University of Cumbria, co-organised by Bay Education And Creative Hub and The Bay International Film Festival (TBIFF). The masterclass will be run by Chris Jones, the guest of TBIFF-2026 earlier this year, the Oscar-shortlisted filmmaker, author of bestselling books, splinter unit director on Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning Parts 1 & 2 and co-executive producer of a docuseries for Apple TV.

Over two packed days, Chris will walk you through the entire filmmaking journey from concept to screen and beyond, with hundreds of practical tips, networking with fellow creatives, and a massive shot of creative rocket fuel.

Over 3000 filmmakers from around the world have taken this masterclass, which Editor/Drone Pilot/Director Giovanni Todeschini describes as “the two days that every film school should open with but never do”, and writer Stephen Pelly says “I learnt more in two days than in two years worth of Media Studies!”
